For the third consecutive year, Brad Atelier signs the execution of La Bordée’s visual platform. The 41st season is marked by the appointment of a new artistic director, Michel Nadeau. The new platform reflects this new direction and highlights the inherent values of the institution: a popular theatre deep-rooted in its city and a space sincerely engaged in humanity.
The characters from the various plays of the 2017–2018 season are all navigating difficult situations. Playwrights have chosen to expose these struggles under the angle of compassion, kindness, tenderness, laughter— in one word, with humanity. It is important for the visuals to underline this aspect. In a theatrical production, our creation paints the time and space in which each story takes place as we aimed to depict the occupations and concerns of the protagonists.
